Roksolyana Holovata

Art historian

Roksolyana Holovata is an art historian, researcher, and head of the Lviv Interactive digital platform at the Center for Urban History of East Central Europe. She has a PhD in art history from Wrocław university and an MA in history from the Ukrainian Catholic university. Her research focuses on historical urban studies, the perception of the city’s space, Lviv artistic networks and their manifestations in the city’s public space during the long 19th century. She is also developing a personal research project on the history of Lviv’s suburbs and the city’s 19th and 20th century green spaces.
