Chris Morash

Professor of literature

Christopher Morash is a professor of Irish Writing at Trinity College Dublin. He is the author of several books on Irish cultural history, including A History of Irish Theatre and A History of the Media in Ireland (both at Cambridge University Press). He has published a monograph on Yeats's theatre, and of a book (with Shaun Richards) on theories of theatre space. His book Dublin: A Writer's City came out in 2023. He chairs the judging panel for the Dublin Literary Award.
