Film critic

Dmytro Desyateryk is a film critic and cultural journalist. He writes film and festival reviews, and conducts interviews with film directors, producers and actors He holds a degree in theater studies from the Theater Faculty of Karpenko-Kary University in Ukraine. He was awarded as the Best Journalist prize at the Molodist Film Festival (2001), and received prizes at the Open Night Film Festival (2001–2003). He is a laureate of the James Mace Journalism Award (2020). Voter of the Golden Globe international film award, member of International Federation of Film Critics, the European Film Academy, the Ukrainian Film Academy, and the Union of Film Critics of Ukraine.
