Ira Tantsiura

Queer feminist activist, researcher

Ira Tantsiura is a Ukrainian queer feminist activist and researcher working at the intersection of feminism, LGBTQ+ rights, culture, and social justice. She is a co-founder and programmer of Filma, a Ukrainian feminist film festival. She has also worked with Fight for Right, a Ukrainian NGO advocating for the rights of people with disabilities, including coordinating evacuation efforts during the first months of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022.
